
iceandfire have joined with Reprieve to spread the word about those who have suffered torture and abuse under the CIA's counter-terror method known as 'extraordinary rendition', using a viral video campaign based on iceandfire's outreach script Rendition Monologues.

iceandfire has been busy exploring a number of new ideas for the next production in 2010.
We are currently looking at a new play about assisted suicide, a verbatim play about journalists around the world who have taken great personal risks to do their job, a new collaboration with a visual artist on a piece about a world dominated by climate change, and a site-specific piece set in a residential home about human rights in a domestic context. Actors for Human Rights has been seen by more than 15,000 people in the UK since its launch in 2006 and now consists of well over 350 actors!
AFHR now tours five documentary scripts around the country with more in the pipeline for 2009 looking at older people and human rights and the UK's counter-terror legislation. Thanks to everyone who has been involved.

Children Together, iceandfire's sound and movement play project, is successfully running at Merton Asylum Welcome in Wimbledon. A new movement artist has also joined the program, choreographer Fiona Rae
